TERRY
FERGUSON
Terry
Ferguson's first appearance was
on the October 3rd, 1998 episode,
hosted by Kelsey
Grammar.
He
appeared in two campaign
commercials as a candidate for
the U.S. Senate. It becomes clear
early in both of the commercials
he's in that he's not a typical
candidate. He knows very little
about the issues and the
photos-ops he's involved with in
the commercials have an
overly-staged feel and make
Ferguson look very uncomfortable
in almost any situation. He
doesn't help his cause any when
he opens his mouth to speak to
the voters. We learn that he was
employed at Foot Locker before
being asked to run, and that he
gets his facts confused very
easily.
So what
is the campaign sticking point
that he gets behind to get voters
to vote for him? In 1975,
Ferguson was involved in a fire
that burned away his eyebrows and
his genitals. Without genitals,
Ferguson can't have sex with
anyone (not even his wife), ala
Bill Clinton. So, then, as voters
we are to believe that he's a
good candidate because he won't
fall into the trap of Clinton's
well-publicized
shortcoming.
The
real scary part is how close to
reality this whole concept
sounds.
