Craig
and Adriana are the most visible
characters from the latest SNL
cast. Love 'em, or hate 'em---you
can't ignore 'em.
They
are the Spartan Spirits.
Well, sort of.
They
premiered on the first episode of
the new cast in October of 1995.
We are anxious to see them still.
The creativity in their
combination is quietly
side-splitting as we hang on
their every word.
They
are a couple of high school kids
who really want to be
cheerleaders and support their
school, East Lake High.
For one reason or another they
didn't make the squad and are
made out to be geeks. They can't
accept the defeat and so they
never turn in their uniforms and
keep appearing at school
events.
While
the regular cheerleading squad is
off cheering at normal locations
like football games, Craig and
Ariana cheer at swim meets, chess
matches, bowling tournaments, and
surfing competitions. They cheer
wherever they can to help spread
Spartan spirit.
They're
not always
appreciated.
Craig
has back hair, Ariana stuffs her
bra and they're both quite
flaky.
They seem perfect for each other,
but Adriana "doesn't like Craig
like that."
Craig actually did try to kiss
her once, but she refused,
leaving them "just good
friends."
