LUCIFER
In a
very strange sketch, Will
plays Lucifer to a hard up
songwriter (Garth Brooks) who is
desperate to write a hit song.
When he mentions that he'd sell
his soul, Lucifer appears in fire
and brimstone to strike a
deal.
They lock in a mortal handshake
and Lucifer pulls out his guitar
to fulfill his end of the
bargain. Unfotunately for him,
his best efforts prove as
fruitless as the songwriters' as
he can't come up with a good song
either. He launches into lame
songs about fast cars, robots and
slacks. He blames his
difficulties on an out-of-tune
guitar, overthinking, and not
being able to play the "F" chords
well because they hurt his
fingers.
By the end Lucifer even makes a
half-hearted attempt at a
terrible rap song.
He leaves with his tail between
his hooves, but the songwriter
gets inspiration in his absence
and writes a song called, "The
devil can't write a love
song."
