JIM
LASTERBICK
Jim is
a successful ad agency pitch man,
with a bit of a strange approach
to selling.
When
pitching to the executives of a
possible client, Winthrop Tires,
he first produced folders with
packets for everyone to follow
along with as he
talked.
He's
politely interrupted by the
client who demonstrates that none
of the folders have anything in
them. When asked by his partner
where the reports are, Jim breaks
down into a terrible crying spell
followed by loud tantrum
outbursts.
Agitated
and irritable, he makes the
clients very uncomfortable, but
they are soothed into staying by
Jim's partner who says that this
has happened before.
After a
while, Jim is able to calm down
after receiving a juice box from
his partner's briefcase. It was
grape flavored-his
favorite.
With
his composure back he's able to
explain the ad agency's ideas and
miraculously wins over the
Winthrop account. When they
leave, Jim and his partner head
out to go get a lap
dance.
