Harry
Caray was the long time
broadcaster for the Chicago Cubs
and his voice has been perfect
fodder for comedians for years.
Many have attempted it, but
nobody could find much to do with
it.
Will
Ferrell now "owns" the
impression. That means that most
anyone who tries the impression
is really doing an impression of
Will doing an impression of Harry
Caray. It's that good. It's that
funny.
The same thing has been said of
Dana Carvey's "George Bush"
impression, Phil Hartman as
"President Clinton", and Jay
Mohr's "Christopher
Walken."
With
the passing of the real Harry,
fans have been wondering and
hoping for Will's impression.
Will has stated publicly that he
would like to do it
again.
